Dry Fog Agglomerative Dust Suppression System
DSI dust suppression systems offer the driest form of dust suppression available as only the dust is wet and not the material. As a result, this results in significantly lower water consumption levels and no significant wetting of the product (typically less than 0.05% by volume).
DSI dust suppression systems use ultrasonic, air atomizing nozzles, compressed air and plain water to produce a dry fog (1-10 micron droplet) that agglomerates to airborne dust particles (particulate matter 10 microns or smaller [PM10 and PM-2.5]). The fog and dust agglomeration increases the weight of the airborne particles at source, resulting in the particles becoming non-airborne falling back into the process.
DSI systems are ideal for transfer points, crushing and screening areas, feeders, truck dump hoppers, material loading and unloading points, and other applications where airborne dust is a nuisance or hazard to the operation or to neighboring communities.
DSI dust suppression systems are sold under license from Dust Solutions Inc. in the USA. The license is specific to the African region with permission to use globally only if being installed into a TAKRAF project.*
